They have engaged us to find them an Electrical Division Manager to add to their team.

Electrical Division Manager:
The Electrical Division Manager has the full responsibility for managing and leading all aspects of Electrical Division. He/She is responsible for the overall safety, efficiency and quality of the work; from estimating and cost control, to schedule adherence, through final project completion, billings and collections.
  • The Electrical Division Manager will direct a team of Estimators, Project Managers, Project Engineers, General Foreman, and Field Engineers to successfully win bids and achieve profitable project results.
  • Plan, schedule, adjust, and maintain timelines in a fast paced construction/installation environment while maximizing resources and optimizing budgets and profits.
  • Oversee and track job costs and complete cost reviews, monitoring of projects for compliance with all applicable laws, as well as maintaining excellence of quality and safety standards and managing Division staff toward profitable annual results.
  • Assists in the preparation of technical proposals and bids, including review and approval of the scope of work, management plans, production rates, project schedule, indirect assignments, and overall bid preparation.
  • Conduct post project reviews to determine areas for future improvement.
  • Provide coaching/counseling/mentoring to Division team members.
  • Construction / Business Management degree with 15 years of relevant experience working in electrical construction or a Licensed Electrician with 20 years of relevant experience in electrical construction management, business development and executive administration is preferred.
  • Excellent leader with good team building skills.
  • Proficiency using various software applications (Scheduling, MS Office Suite, and Estimation Software).
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production of electrical plans, blueprints, and drawings.
  • Experience with contract documents (contract drawings, specifications, subcontracts, contract addendum, and change orders).
  • Experience with electrical business development activities in the Boston and Massachusetts electrical markets.
