We have been engaged by a major Houston retailer to assist them with their search for a Director of Digital Marketing.  This is a fantastic opportunity for a Manager looking to make a move up, or an experienced Director interesting making a change to a stable, profitable retailer.

You will be responsible for developing the Digital Marketing strategy, plan and executing it based on an integrated marketing, customer-centric, omni-commerce approach.  Maintain a focus on driving sales through performance optimization of all channels -- SEO, SEM, mobile, display and affiliate marketing.  Manage ecommerce analytics to ensure actions being taken help drive overall sales.  Leverage innovation to drive a competitive advantage for the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategic plans for digital marketing to drive sales across channels, drive website traffic, increase brand awareness and customer engagement
  • Collaborate with internal partners (E-Commerce, IT, Merchandising, Legal and Marketing) and external vendors to ensure strategic plans maximize effectiveness
  • Ensure internal stakeholders are informed of digital marketing performance and competitive insights through strong use of site analytics (Omniture + Google Analytics).
  • Manage partner and vendor relationships to test and learn from game-changing ideas and approaches.
  • Demonstrate the company’s core values and be a champion of positive change.  This position will help drive innovation and new exploration in marketing.  Need to be able to champion change.
  • Develop strategic view of budget allocations to ensure business objectives are met and forecasts are accurate.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years Digital Marketing experience with an omnichannel retailer or digital agency with significant retail accounts.
  • Minimum 2 years management experience with direct reports.
  • College degree preferred
  • Strong leadership skills to ensure highly engaged team.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships both internally and externally. 
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and oral communications.
