Office Assistant - Talent Acquisition
Our client is a division of a global construction company with offices in midtown Manhattan is looking for a temp office assistant. If you would be interested, please submit your resume in confidence. These positions have a way of being extended and sometimes convert to perm.
An office presence and demeanor, and just all around great attitude is required.
Compensation is $25/hr.
Under direct supervision of the Talent Acquisition Manager, performs a variety of general administrative and office operations support activities. Interface with executives, assistants, and other internal/external professionals both nationally and internationally.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Answer phones, Greets visitors, determine the nature of their business, and notifies appropriate staff member while ensuring office security measures are followed correctly.
Prepares routine correspondence, office forms and/or other business related documents; handles incoming and outgoing mail and interoffice communications.
Perform office supply inventory and replenishment services.
Interface with IT for IT issues and concerns, set ups
Arrange meetings and conferences; maintains calendars. Make travel arrangements and reservations.
Assist with scheduling interviews and update candidates on their status during the interview process.
Qualifications and Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong working knowledge of computers, basic programs like Outlook, Office, Excel
Ability to work under pressure with deadlines
