Office Assistant – The Woodlands
Our client is a division of a global construction company with offices in The Woodlands, TX, is looking for a temp to perm office assistant. If you would be interested, please submit your resume in confidence.
Compensation is $20/hr.
Under direct supervision, performs a variety of general administrative and office operations support activities. Interface with executives, assistants, and other internal/external professionals both nationally and internationally. Serve as office receptionist.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Answer phones, Greets visitors, determine the nature of their business, and notifies appropriate staff member while ensuring office security measures are followed correctly.
Prepares routine correspondence, office forms and/or other business related documents; handles incoming and outgoing mail and interoffice communications.
Perform office supply inventory and replenishment services.
Interface with IT for IT issues and concerns, set ups
Arrange meetings and conferences; maintains calendars. Make travel arrangements and reservations.
Assist accounting with invoicing of travel expenses
Qualifications and Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong working knowledge of computers, basic programs like Outlook, Office, Excel
Ability to work under pressure with deadlines
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2-3 years administrative or related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
